Nature workshop - Orzysz Training Area Refuge

Nature workshop - Orzysz Training Area Refuge

The Orzysz Training Area Refuge, a site classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds (Birds Directive), was the next point on the schedule for organizing workshops as part of the INF ARMY project.

The workshops in Orzysz took place on June 29, with a record number of participants – 61 people – both military personnel and representatives of the Drygały and Jedwabno Forest Districts, the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Assembly, the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Olsztyn, the University of Warmia and Mazury, the State Forests, and the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Olsztyn.

The first stage of the meeting took place in the lecture hall. After an introduction by the INF ARMY project manager, a representative of the Olsztyn Museum of Nature gave a presentation on the natural resources of the training area. This was a solid dose of knowledge, preparing the participants for a field trip.

We would like to thank everyone for their participation.
