As part of the LIFE project, a specialized room serving as a Training and Information Center was established in the building of the project coordinator. This space has been designed and equipped to facilitate training sessions, meetings, videoconferences, and other activities supporting the project’s objectives and the team’s day-to-day collaboration.

Equipment in the Room

The center has been outfitted with high-quality multimedia equipment to ensure functionality and modern communication standards:

  1. Video Wall: Installed by a contractor selected through a tender process, it enables presentations, training sessions, and videoconferences to be conducted on a large, high-resolution screen.
  2. Sound System and Microphones: Supporting various types of meetings held in the room.
  3. Computers: Used for training purposes.

Use of the Center During the Project

The Training and Information Center has already become a key venue for meetings and training sessions during the project:

  1. It hosted the second Steering Committee meeting, where project progress was discussed, key decisions were made, and future directions were approved.
  2. Training sessions on the operation of the database developed as part of the project were conducted here, enabling the training of administrators and users of the IT system.
  3. The center has also been used for workshops, consultation meetings, and videoconferences with the project team and external partners.

Future Perspective

The Training and Information Center will remain a permanent part of the Ministry of National Defence’s infrastructure, supporting activities related to environmental protection and management of Natura 2000 areas. After the project concludes, the room will continue to be used for:

  1. Training sessions for the Ministry of National Defence staff, including those focused on environmental protection.
  2. Meetings with representatives of civilian and military institutions involved in nature conservation.
  3. Workshops, conferences, and events promoting ongoing initiatives.

The modern equipment and functionality of the Center will enable effective support for future projects and initiatives related to nature conservation and environmental resource management on military lands.
