Task and Scope
The task included producing a television report and publishing press articles to promote the LIFE21-GIE-PL-INF-ARMY project. The media activities aimed not only to summarize the project's outcomes but also to build ecological awareness within society and promote the LIFE program as an essential tool for nature conservation and the implementation of innovative solutions.

Objectives of the Task

  1. Raising ecological awareness in society: The report and articles aimed to increase knowledge about conservation activities carried out in military areas and to promote environmental stewardship as a shared value between the military and civilians.
  2. Highlighting the military’s role in nature conservation: The project emphasized legal obligations related to environmental protection in military areas, as well as the methods and systems used by the military to fulfill these obligations.
  3. Promoting the LIFE program and the Natura 2000 network: The campaign underscored the significance of these initiatives in biodiversity conservation and the management of environmentally valuable areas.
  4. Enhancing communication with citizens: Through public media, the project sought to improve access to information about nature conservation activities conducted in military areas.

The first mention of the LIFE21-GIE-PL-INF-ARMY project in the media occurred during the coverage of the ceremonial signing of an agreement between the Ministry of National Defense and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW).
The event took place at the NFOŚiGW headquarters, with the participation of Deputy Minister Małgorzata Golińska and NFOŚiGW Vice President Sławomir Mazurek, who were personally involved in the formalization process of the project.
The coverage of the agreement signing was the first step in informing the public about the project’s activities, garnering media interest and highlighting the military’s role in nature conservation. This mention initiated extensive promotional activities for the project in the media and press.
