Nature Workshop - Trzebiatów Coast

Trzebiatów Coast, designated as the Natura 2000 area PLB320010, was another location on the country's map where INF ARMY held nature workshops. This time, the participants included not only personnel from the Ministry of National Defense (RON) and environmental officials but also two classes of students from the Zbigniew Herbert School in Trzebiatów, with a biological and military profile. We are delighted with their participation. Instilling awareness in young people about the importance of environmental issues and the fact that the military is also concerned about them is a significant element of the educational and promotional campaign conducted as part of the project.

Among the most significant threats to the Natura 2000 area Trzebiatów Coast are the loss of breeding and feeding habitats for protected birds, barriers jeopardizing their lives and altering migration routes and resting places, as well as anthropogenic changes, including urban development, infrastructure development, and alterations in water conditions. All these aspects must be considered in managing the Military Training Grounds in Trzebiatów.
