Opening Conference of the Wetlands Green Life Project

On May 9, 2023, the opening conference of the Wetlands Green Life project took place in Warsaw. The project is co-funded by the General Directorate for Environmental Protection, the Office of Forestry Management and Land Surveying, and the University of Agriculture in Krakow. The event, in which the INF ARMY team had the great pleasure to participate, was opened by the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment and the Director of the Office of Forestry Management and Land Surveying.

During the conference, attendees had the opportunity to listen to eight presentations describing the main assumptions and objectives of the project, as well as complementary initiatives. The meeting was enhanced by a lecture titled "World and Polish Peatlands - Resources and Conservation Needs" delivered by the Director of the Institute of Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, and Environmental Protection at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław.

  6. "Actions Implemented under the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-2027 Related to the Restoration and Preservation of Peatlands"
  7. "Protection of Water Resources and Wetland Habitats in State Forests"
